Introducing Mia Qing

With the most grateful hearts and all praise to God, we welcome our new daughter and little sister......

Here are a few pieces of information that we've been told about Mia:


  • Lives with her foster family in the province of Hubei, China
  • Birthday is April 25, 2002
  • She is cute and gets along well with other kids
  • Dances, plays games, sings and likes to listen to music
  • Likes books and can recite poetry
  • Loves to play outside on the playground
  • Works hard on her studies
  • Not choosy with her food and has a good appetite 
  • Quiet and obstinate sometimes (what 9 year old isn't?)
We look forward to discovering her personality, gifts and talents.

    Congratulations! I love the pigtails. My 9-year-old definitely fits the obstinate profile.

    Too funny. I have taught fifth grade (9 &10 year olds) for the last ten years and yes they can be quite obstinate. We love the pigtails too. This is actually an updated picture of her from July. The first picture they sent of her was when she was about 6 and she had really short hair. So it has grown some.

    angela,
    my sister, linda, is a friend of your mom. my daughter is two days younger than Mia and she was adopted from fouzhou city in March of 2002. we are very excited to meet her and get to know her. mia is so special. your mom just walked in so i hope to see all of you in a week or so. Cindy.M
