Road to Recovery

Mia's surgery went well.  The recovery room part was a little rough.  She had a hard time waking up from the anesthesia.  She screamed bloody murder and was kicking and crying.  I wasn't expecting this part.  It's hard on your heart when your child is in distress.  I know it was necessary and now we are on our way to a full recovery.   The doctor said he was pleased with the outcome.   She has some swelling and bruising, but overall looks really good.  We go back for a check up in about a week.  Won't share any pictures for now.  Will post  some later.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Pretty Girl

Starting my day out with a bible verse to keep calm and peaceful about Mia's surgery tomorrow.  I know she is in God's hand surrounded by angels, so all will be well.

We take her to the hospital early because her surgery is scheduled for 6:30 am.   Wanted to get her in and over with as quick as possible.  This is outpatient, so we will back home for the recovery process.  Will keep the blog updated with her progress.
